November 2011

In the last few months we’ve played some wonderful festivals including Cactus in Belgium, Pohada in Slovakia, Montreux Jazz Festival, MIT Festival in Rome, Lowlands Festival in Holland, Galeria Szyb in  Poland, Standon Calling and Shambala Festivals in England and, perhaps one of the highlights of our summer, the amazing Somerset House, London.  Thanks to all the promoters and fans who made the shows so special. We have also just announced new dates through to 2012 and we’re really looking forward to seeing you all again.  Here’s a taste of what’s to come:

Back in a cold, cold English July, we made a video for Build a Fire, our new EP which is released on (appropriately enough for Britain at least) 5th November. It’s not often you get to stay up all night in an urban wasteland and almost freeze to death in a backless, red silk dress with only the occasional explosion to keep you warm but this was a case in point. It does look pretty stunning though and I’d like to say a big thank you to director John Nolan, producer Ebony Maitland, hair stylist Jos Gibson and of course Tara Sugar, stylist and miracle worker who literally conjured up said silk dress out of nowhere. Hope you enjoy it!

The EP has stunning mixes from LOWB (Andy’s solo project), Gaudi, Evil9 and Jonathan Boulet & Alyx Dennison. Australia has an additional mix from the talented Domeyko Gonzalez. Released (appropriately enough for England at least) on 5 November, you can buy from i-tunes and all good download stores.  We have an additional mix (not on the EP) from Helm who have generously agreed to let us make their mix available as a free download. Enjoy – we love it!

See you out there,

Lamb love,

Lou. x
